Quality Technician, QA/QC
Charlottesville, VA 22911
Hiring a Quality Inspector to perform QA, QC, Incoming Inspection, and Final Inspection activities.
Pay Range: $22-27 an hour, depending on experience

SUMMARY:
Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, including but not limited to:

  • Incoming Inspections
  • Testing
  • Documentation
  • Final Release
  • Validation
  • Quality Assurance Evaluation (QAE) activities
  • Serve as a Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE)
  • MRB
  • NCMR (Non-Conforming Material Reports)
  • RMA (Return Merchandise Authorizations)


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A two-year college degree or trade school education is a plus but not required
  • GD&T Certification is a plus
  • ASQ Certification is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • At least two years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) preferred
  • Must have strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems required; experience with Epicor beneficial
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, surface plates, drop indicators, and comparators
  • CMM and machine shop experience is a plus
  • Experience with medical devices is a plus
