We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and service-driven Quality Control Inspector to join our Housekeeping team. This position plays an important role in ensuring our guest rooms and public areas consistently meet CMC Hotels and brand standards for cleanliness, presentation, safety, and overall guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is comfortable providing guidance and support to Housekeeping associates.

What You'll Do

As our Quality Control Inspector, you will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping team to ensure our property is consistently clean, welcoming, guest-ready, and operating to brand standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and other spaces cleaned by the Housekeeping Department to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet CMC Hotels and brand standards.
  • Document inspection results and communicate deficiencies to the appropriate Housekeeping associates and management team.
  • Follow our 15/5 Guest Service Rule by making eye contact and smiling at 15 feet and warmly greeting guests within 5 feet.
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in identifying areas where additional Room Attendant training or coaching may be needed.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to Housekeeping and Laundry associates to reinforce proper cleaning techniques, procedures, and quality expectations.
  • Assist with Room Attendant assignments and daily Housekeeping operations as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Assist with cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations when business levels or staffing needs require additional support.
  • Ensure Housekeeping associates follow established CMC Hotels policies, brand standards, safety procedures, and departmental expectations.
  • Monitor guest room supplies, amenities, linens, uniforms, cleaning supplies, and equipment and communicate inventory needs to management.
  • Report maintenance concerns immediately using the company's approved maintenance reporting procedures and ensure rooms are properly identified as Out of Order when necessary.
  • Follow established key-control procedures and ensure keys are properly secured at all times.
  • Follow and reinforce the hotel's Do Not Disturb (DND) procedures and Life Safety requirements.
  • Follow all fire, safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and wear the approved uniform and name tag while working.
  • Communicate effectively with the Executive Housekeeper, management team, Front Desk, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure rooms are ready and guest concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Serve as a resource to the Housekeeping team and assist with departmental leadership responsibilities in the Executive Housekeeper's absence, as assigned by hotel management.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support the successful operation of the hotel.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous hotel Housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping Inspector, Room Inspector, Housekeeping Supervisor, or similar role is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
  • Ability to identify deficiencies and communicate expectations professionally and respectfully.
  • Ability to coach and support Housekeeping associates in meeting established standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
  • Dependable attendance and the flexibility to work based on hotel business needs, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to perform physical Housekeeping duties, including standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting as required.
  • A positive, guest-focused attitude and a genuine commitment to providing an exceptional hotel experience.
