Insulation Commandos of Raleigh-Durham is seeking a dedicated and skilled Insulation Technician to join our expanding team. As an Insulation Technician, you will play a crucial role in improving energy efficiency, comfort, and safety in residential and commercial buildings. You will be responsible for the installation and removal of various types of insulation materials, as well as performing tasks such as radiant barrier installation, rodent mitigation, air sealing, and air duct cleaning.

Duties include:

· Job Site Assessment and Planning: Assess job sites to evaluate insulation needs, safety concerns, and project requirements

· Logistics and Preparation: Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment for job readiness

· Team Leadership and Safety: Lead a team of 2-7 installers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols

· On-Site Communication: Serve as the on-site point of contact for crew, management, and customers

· Hands-On Installation: Perform hands-on installation of various insulation types, including attics, crawl spaces, walls, and drill-and-fill projects

· Materials Management: Oversee the use of materials like fiberglass batts, blown-in insulation, vapor barrier, and radiant barriers

· Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction: Conduct final walkthroughs with customers to confirm job quality and satisfaction
