Contract Role | MTE instrumentation Technician in Decatur AL
Duration: 1 month contract
Pay Range: 40 - 49/hour on w2

Job Description:
  • Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of MTE (Measurement and Test Equipment) instrumentation technical work. Performs independent work involving the technical design of instrumentation MTE concepts and practices. This includes complex features such as conflicting technical requirements, material suitability, and difficult coordination issues. Requires broad knowledge of specialty practices and related technical areas.
  • Acts as a fully competent MTE technician in all conventional experience aspects of assigned functional areas. Plans and conducts work requiring independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, adapting, and modifying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Develops new approaches to resolve technical problems encountered.
  • May direct or coordinate the work of technicians and others assisting with specific assignments.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree from an accredited curriculum or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access and S-3/S-4 medical qualifications when applicable.
  • Must be willing and able to participate in on-call rotational assignments, including 24/7 availability when required.
  • Must be medically able and willing to work rotating shifts and maximum permitted overtime during peak periods.
  • Must be able and willing to travel to plant locations as required and accept temporary field assignments.
