The Technician will support Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians in performing routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting activities. Work Environment:

• This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area

What you'll do:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and commission instrumentation and measurement devices to support reliable operations.

• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and assist in identifying corrective actions to minimize downtime.

• Review and maintain instrument drawings, datasheets, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Execute and document maintenance activities through SAP work orders in accordance with Cenovus maintenance standards.

• Support equipment overhauls, shutdowns, turnarounds, and continuous improvement initiatives, including incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Journeyman Instrument Mechanic certification required.

• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology from a recognized institution is considered an asset.

• Minimum of 3 years of journeyman instrumentation maintenance experience in an industrial environment, preferably within the oil and gas processing industry.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational setting.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.

For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
