Job Summary
We are seeking a Driving Instructor to join our team! As our Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for preparing students to take to the road safely, including teaching rules and regulations in a classroom setting, proper vehicle handling and maintenance, and all basic safety guidelines. You will also help students get comfortable behind the wheel and apply their knowledge in a practical way. The ideal candidate is comfortable teaching a group of students, has extensive knowledge of driving safety and rules, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Responsibilities 

  • Get behind the wheel with students and help them implement their knowledge in a safe and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with students and guardians, and provide additional recommendations on future driving practices
Qualifications
  • Valid license and clean driving record required
  • Over 25 years old
  • Previous experience as a driving instructor or commercial driving desired
  • Strong understanding of driving rules and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Good with young students
  • Able to pass a physical according to DOT rules
  • Clean drivers license 
  • Clear a background check/no felonies
