About FS8 Thousand Oaks

FS8 is part of the F45 Training FIT House of Brands, combining the best of Pilates, Tone, and Yoga into a modern, music-driven, coaching-assisted group training experience. Our Thousand Oaks studio is preparing for launch, and we’re building a world-class team of instructors who are passionate about movement, community, and member experience.
Position Summary

The FS8 Instructor is responsible for delivering exceptional, high-energy, low-impact classes that align with FS8 programming standards. This role requires strong coaching skills, a passion for Pilates-based movement, and the ability to motivate members of all fitness levels in a safe, engaging environment.
Successful candidates bring professionalism, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing an outstanding member experience at every class.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, effective, high-quality FS8 classes following the daily programmed workouts.
  • Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and modifications for members of varying fitness levels and physical abilities.
  • Maintain strong coaching presence with excellent cueing, energy, and engagement.
  • Foster a welcoming, community-focused environment before, during, and after class.
  • Arrive prepared, punctual, and professional for all assigned shifts.
  • Assist with studio cleanliness, equipment setup/reset, and maintaining brand standards.

  • Uphold FS8 policies, values, and code of conduct.
QualificationsRequired

  • Experience teaching Pilates, group fitness, yoga, or similar movement modalities.
  • Strong understanding of anatomical principles and safe movement execution.
  • Excellent verbal communication and motivational coaching skills.
  • Ability to lead dynamic group classes and maintain high energy throughout class.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to exceptional member service.
Preferred

  • Pilates certification (Reformer/Mat/Comprehensive)not required but strongly preferred.

  • Prior experience teaching in boutique fitness or group training environments.
  • CPR/AED certification 
AvailabilityFS8 Thousand Oaks offers morning, midday, evening, and weekend classes. Ideal candidates have flexible availability across the following schedule:
Monday–Friday:
6:00am, 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm
Saturday & Sunday:
7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am
