Job description

Position: Part Time

The Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor/Coordinator teaches students how to perform basic patient care services directed at the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients through a combination of classroom lecture, and the coordination of hands-on clinical experience in a local long-term care facility. 


Responsibilities:

  • Instructing CNA classes

  • Maintaining a safe and comprehensive program

  • Training students to safely and effectively care for patients

  • Evaluating and reporting of students’ progress

  • Creating and delivering lecture demonstrations

  • Ensuring smooth and safe operation of the teaching space.


Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Minimum of two years experience, one year in long term care

  • Vermont NATCEP approved

  • Ability to instruct classed efficiently
