Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Skills Assistant to join our team. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce! The Clinical Medical Assistant Programs run for 8-10 weeks. Applicants must be available during our weekday morning schedule.

Must be available:  2-3 days a week (Rotating days each week) from 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Aid student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
  • Aid in student learning outcomes.
  • Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
  • Aid all required skill labs with the Lead instructor.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required.
  • Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
  • Front office experience.
  • Back office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
  • No teaching experience required
  • Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
  • Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
  • Comfortable with computers and technology.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Current CPR certification.
