We are seeking instructors who possess the unique ability to command a room with authenticity, high energy, and a deep commitment to motivating others on their fitness journey.
Role Overview
As a CycleBar Instructor, you will lead high-intensity, cardio-driven workouts while ensuring the highest standards of indoor cycling safety and fundamentals. You are responsible for creating an immersive experience that keeps riders engaged, safe, and inspired.
Key Responsibilities
Class Performance & Programming
  • Dynamic Content: Deliver a fresh, unique playlist for every class to ensure a new experience for riders; recycling playlists is reserved for emergencies only.
  • Technical Preparation: Complete and submit all playlists through ClubReady prior to arriving at the studio.
  • Adherence to Brand: Strictly follow CycleBar formatted rides and established methodology.
  • Announcements: Share pre- or post-class announcements regarding membership specials, milestones, and new rider shoutouts.
Studio Operations & Engagement
  • Rider Support: Arrive at least 30 minutes before class to set up technology, engage with riders, and assist new riders with bike settings for safety and comfort.
  • Post-Class Community: Remain for 10 to 20 minutes after class to engage with riders in the community area and assist with sales or studio transitions.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance in proper athletic wear (CycleBar branded clothing is recommended).
  • Facility Care: Keep the studio tidy by storing equipment in designated places and reporting any maintenance needs to management promptly.
Marketing & Team Contribution
  • Social Media Presence: Post to platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok at least once per week (2–5 times recommended) to promote schedules, theme rides, and studio updates. Repost items that the instructor is tagged in for reach.
  • Collaborative Growth: Ride in at least two classes per month with other instructors to support the team environment and gain understanding of their styles so that you can recommend other instructors to members that are looking for something specific.
  • Communication: Respond to all studio emails and group messaging in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Passion for Fitness: A genuine drive for health, wellness, and the boutique fitness industry.
  • Personality: Must be friendly, outgoing, personable, and possess strong communication skills.
  • Certification: Must successfully pass a formal audition and CycleBar boot camp to begin teaching.
