Summary:

The Learning & Development (L&D) Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging training content, learning programs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support employee performance, engagement, and professional growth. This role partners closely with Learning & Development leadership, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and cross-functional teams to create instructor-led, blended, and eLearning solutions while driving SOP creation, adoption, and continuous improvement throughout the organization

Qualifications:

Essential Job Functions: 

Day-to-day tasks include, but not limited to the following:

  • Design, develop, and update instructor-led, blended learning, and eLearning training materials.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into effective learning experiences.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reference documents, forms, and process documentation.
  • Develop job aids, visual aids, presentations, videos, and other training resources
  • Coordinate with department leaders, SMEs, and senior stakeholders to gather information, obtain documentation, and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Proactively follow up with business partners and stakeholders to collect outstanding content, secure approvals, and drive training and SOP initiatives to completion.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to SOP development, review, and approval processes.
  • Maintain SOP trackers, SharePoint repositories, and document control processes.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, documentation gaps, and operational efficiencies.
  • Support organizational learning initiatives and promote the adoption and utilization of training resources and SOPs.



Working/ Environment/ Physical Demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
