What You Will Do Support classroom procedures and student behavior to maintain a safe, engaging learning environment Assist with planning and delivering lessons aligned to California State Standards and Aspire Instructional Guidelines Support student assessments and assist with data analysis Collaborate with teachers and staff to strengthen instructional practices Communicate regularly with students and families regarding classroom activities and student progress Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, in accordance with Aspire procedures Support individual student needs in collaboration with teachers, staff, and service providers Assist with differentiated instruction, including small-group, one-on-one, and parallel teaching Support after-school programs, including intervention and enrichment Promote a school-wide culture of high expectations and college readiness Teach or co-teach Advisory classes focused on student character and habits Uphold Aspire Public Schools' mission, values, policies, and code of ethics What You Will Bring Knowledge of child development and diverse learning styles Ability to implement Aspire Instructional Guidelines and best practices Strong communication and collaboration skills Associate's degree or two years of college coursework required; Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred One year of experience working with students preferred Aspire Public Schools is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, disability, marital status, veteran status, or any other occupationally irrelevant criteria.
