Serving 33 member districts and reaching additional communities statewide, CREC supports approximately 12,000 students annually through more than 120 educational programs. Our offerings include professional learning and coaching for educators, specialized programming for students with diverse needs, and PreK-12 education across 16 interdistrict magnet schools. Additionally, CREC provides school construction, operations, and cooperative business services, while also delivering programs that help adults build real, job-ready skills.

POSITION SUMMARY:ย 

The ELA Instructional Supervisor at CREC plays a critical role in shaping and enhancing the development, refinement, and implementation of ELA curriculum from grades K-12 in CREC Magnet Schools. This position also focuses on supervising certified teachers and providing instructional support to both school leaders and teachers. The ideal candidate is an experienced educator and leader who is passionate about curriculum innovation, instructional excellence, and professional development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:ย ย 

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, evaluation, and revision of subject-area curricula to align with state and national standards.
  • Ensure that curriculum materials reflect the diverse needs and experiences of students in the CREC community.
  • Collaborate with teachers and content specialists to design innovative and engaging instructional resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to school leaders and teachers in implementing evidence-based instructional practices.
  • Offer professional development workshops and coaching to enhance teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.
  • Conduct classroom observations to assess instructional practices and provide actionable feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that encourages reflection, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze student achievement data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for growth.
  • Use data to inform instructional strategies and curriculum adjustments.
  • Collaborate with CREC leadership, school administrators, and instructional staff to ensure consistency and coherence in curriculum and instruction.

Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide transportation to all CREC schools, meetings, trainings, and professional learning opportunities as required.
