Instructional Assistant Math positions are support roles in educational settings where individuals assist teachers in delivering math instruction to students. They help prepare classroom materials, provide one-on-one or small group support, and reinforce math concepts under the direction of a certified teacher. Instructional Assistants may also help with grading, classroom management, and tracking student progress. These roles are typically found in elementary, middle, or high schools and require strong math skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students.

How does an instructional assistant math typically support classroom teachers and students during the school day?

Instructional Assistant Math professionals play a key role in supporting both teachers and students by facilitating small group activities, offering one-on-one assistance, and reinforcing math concepts introduced by the lead teacher.
