Apprentice or Journeyman. Install, service and repair electro-mechanical locks and related door hardware in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver on Operational Projects within Budget
  • Install, Service and Repair various types systems integration systems and components
  • Program electronic locking systems
  • Be able to run and terminate cabling and integrate door hardware
  • Maintains records of work performed
  • Ensures proper care, in the use of maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Participate in Technician on Call Schedule
  • Work alongside low voltage technicians to integrate hardware into enterprise class security systems, access control, intrusion alarms, and CCTV
  • Executes work in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of locksmithing experience
  • Skills in using locksmith tools and machines
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with the customer along with the ability to identify and satisfy customer needs
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions
  • Ability to solve complex problems and work under pressure
  • Basic computer skills
  • A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions, is required for this position
  • A valid Texas Locksmith License is required for this position
  • Ability to work independently on customer site
  • Ability to meet deadlines and have strong time management and organizational skills
  • Any other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

    • Physical ability to stand for long periods
    • Be able to lift up to 20lbs
    • Walking, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, climbing on ladders
    • Must pass background check as well as pre-employment physical and drug screen
