The Beacon Institute for Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Provide remote individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' challenges and develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific concerns.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and narrative therapy to enhance the therapeutic experience.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all client interactions are securely logged.
• Actively collaborate with a dynamic team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings to share insights and improve internal practices.
• Support clients in addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relational challenges, trauma, and navigating significant life transitions.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
• A valid and active California LMFT license is required to practice.
• At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, whether in private practice, community mental health, or equivalent.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong sense of cultural sensitivity, and a genuine passion for working with diverse populations are essential.

• Experience in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with telehealth platforms are highly preferred.
• A background in community health settings and an understanding of the systemic challenges facing our client population is advantageous.
