About Our Facility:
  • Brook Lane is a 64 bed facility in Hagerstown, MD and home to the second largest psychiatric hospital in Maryland, serving children, adolescents, and adults. We provide a residential program for children and adolescents, and partial hospitalization services for both adults and children. The InSTEP program provides outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment options for individuals with substance use treatment needs.

Requirements Prior to Interviewing:
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation, with at least one being from a clinical instructor.
  • Letter of Intent

Requirements
  • Education - Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Licensure/Certification - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or by Compact required. CPR required.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Ability to apply the standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must possess high level of organizational and communication skills.
