HVAC Installer-Construction
Job Summary:
Responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new construction projects. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals to ensure that all systems are installed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and installation sequence.
  • Perform rough-in work; layout and install duct systems, vents, bath fans, returns, and line sets per design and state/local codes.
  • Perform finish work: set and mount air handlers, furnaces, condensers, HRVs/ERVs, thermostats, grilles, registers, and accessories; ensure proper airflow and operation.
  • Install and connect refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and low-voltage/equipment wiring in accordance with diagrams, codes, and safety standards.
  • Measure and determine ductwork and piping requirements; cut materials to size and assemble as necessary.
  • Collaborate with project foreman and other trades to ensure cohesive and coordinated project execution.
  • Comply with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure all installations meet safety and building code requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or apprenticeship in HVAC preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC installer or technician in a construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and functionality.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Technical proficiency in HVAC system installation and maintenance.
