Join Our Team Carlson & Stewart Refrigeration is a designโ€‘build contractor specializing in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems throughout the Upper Midwest. With offices in Marshall, MN, Sauk Rapids, MN, and Sioux Falls, SD, we are growing our team and seeking qualified, mechanically inclined pipefitters who share our core values: Safety First, Quality People, Quality Product, and Ethical Behavior.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Work with pipefitters, apprentices, and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for refrigeration system installation.
  • Use math and measurement skills to perform accurate field layouts.
  • Install hangers, brackets, and stands according to specifications.
  • Prep pipes for welding using power and hand tools.
  • Use fitting tools to ensure proper installation.
  • Operate telehandlers, forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
  • Work in industrial settings, including food processing and manufacturing plants.
  • Maintain, clean, and organize tools and work areas.
  • Identify faulty equipment or defective materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Prior pipefitting experience required; on-theโ€‘job training available for qualified candidates.
  • Ability to use a tape measure and perform jobโ€‘related math.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel and work 45โ€“50 hours per week, including occasional weekends.
