We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. Our electricians perform installation and maintenance of electrical systems on new construction and renovation projects. As an Electrician at Doota Industrial America, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of electrical infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  •  Material Management: Assist in the secure, efficient relocation, and organization of materials, small tools, and equipment to and from designated storage areas. 
  •  Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the work area is kept clean and orderly by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse. 
  •  Tool and Material Organization: Keep materials and tools in a clean and organized manner, facilitating easy access and workflow. 
  •  Material Handling: Aid in tasks such as wire pulling, lifting, hoisting, and positioning of materials. 
  •  Tool Operation: Operate basic hand tools and equipment, with supervision from a Foreman or more experienced electrician.
  •  Trench Digging: Utilize hand tools for trench digging as required for project needs. 
  •  Mounting and Strapping: Assist in mounting and strapping activities as part of installation procedures. 
  •  Electrical Installation Support: Offer assistance to senior personnel in less complex electrical installations while closely supervised. 
  •  Adaptability: Perform additional project-related tasks and assignments as directed by your supervisor. 
  •  Cable and Conduit Installation: Proficiency in installing cables, conduits, tubing, and switching devices. 
  •  Attendance: Meet attendance standards and adhere to late/absence notification procedures. 
  •  Power Tools: Familiarity with the proper use of various power tools. 
  •  Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
  •  Safety Awareness: Understanding of all safety procedures and electrical safety rules.
  •  Repair and Maintenance: Knowledge of equipment, fixture, and wiring repair or replacement procedures.

Requirements

Requirements

  •  Active Texas Apprentice License, through TDLR 
  •  Current Driver's License 
  •  High School diploma or equivalent required 
  •  1-year Electrical Experience required 
  •  Ability to commute between Round Rock and Taylor project locations. 
  •  Knowledge of State and Local codes (NEC)
  •  Knowledge of safety requirements and standards 
  •  Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust. 
  •  Ability to Speak Korean is a Plus, but not required.

Skills and Physical Requirements:

  •  Must have a high mechanical aptitude, good with their hands, organized and analytical. 
  •  Must be able to endure prolonged periods sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, stairs and scaffolding. 
  •  Must possess physical strength to pull wires and cables through conduits. 
  •  Must be able to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
