Job description

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect tools

  • Repairs and certifies tools as required

  • Schedule and ship tools as required by local installation offices

  • Performs scheduled maintenance on tools

  • Track and follow up on outstanding/overdue tool usage

  • Maintain log or other documentation regarding tooling


Qualifications:


High School Diploma or Equivalent

One + years of machinist experience


Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

  • Ability to use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, socket wrenches, hammers, pliers, impact wrench, wire cutters, tape measure and other job-related tools.

  • Gross motor ability to kneel, crouch, bend, recline, and climb in a variety of maintenance related duties and to drive a forklift.

  • English proficiency to perform troubleshooting and verify parts orders via telephone and or email.

  • Communication skills necessary to interact with employees, management, and outside contractors.

  • Software skills necessary to understand and operate email system and tool tracking software.
