Some responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating in planning, design, construction and commissioning.
  • Working knowledge of design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management (CM), project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.
  • Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns and meetings and/or reviews with owners and designers.
  • Attend constructability reviews.
  • Safety leader (JHAโ€™s revision / daily signed off permits).
Proven ability to:
  • Lead field crews and subcontractors.
  • Plan and coordinate daily construction activities.
    • oSubmit daily reports.
  • Monitor productivity, schedule, quality, and safety performance.
  • Resolve field issues and interface with engineering, operations, and project management teams.
  • Conduct daily coordination and safety meetings.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Experience implementing site safety programs and permit-to-work systems.
Hereโ€™s what youโ€™ll need
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, construction, or other; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
  • At least 10 years of construction site experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager (CM).
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance software such as Maximo or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge and background in Project Controls management and Procurement strategies, day-to-day management.
  • Experience with HVAC, Mechanical, Piping, Plumbing, Instrumentation, Automation and Electrical equipment.
  • Experience with industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, utility, or process-related projects.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple contractors and subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Process instrumentation installation and calibration.
    • oIncluding data integrity assessment.
    • PLC, DCS, SCADA, and automation systems (e.g. Allen Bradley, Control Logix).
    • Control panel installation and wiring.
    • Instrument loop checks, commissioning, and startup activities.
    • Electrical and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs, Loop Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, One-Line Diagrams).
    • Industrial construction means and methods.
    • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NFPA, NEC, ISA, OSHA, GMP where applicable).
    • Experience in GMP-regulated facilities (pharmaceutical or biotechnology).
    • Experience with commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
    • Must be Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Ideally, youโ€™ll also have:
    • Construction management software (Primavera (P6), MS Project, or equivalent).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent communications skills (English/Spanish).
    • Proficient in use of software such as Power Point, Excel, Word, Bluebeam.

The base salary range for this position is $78,200.00 to $132,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
