Position Title: Install Technician
Reports to: Project Manager
Classification: Hourly
Schedule: Full time
Purpose: Assist project manager with completion of projects and have the ability to complete projects individually.
Duties:
Run wires independently
  • Install cameras, access points, speakers, TVs, and terminate network wires independently
  • Perform wire dress work that follows company standards
  • Responsible for tracking all items that are removed from van stock
  • Ensure transfers from main warehouse to van stock are accepted
  • Update ProjX360 with notes daily on what was completed onsite
  • Keep vans maintained and clean on a weekly basis
  • Complete quarterly maintenance camera cleanings
  • Other duties as assigned by Project Manager

Qualifications/Requirements:
Physical ability to lift equipment above 50 pounds
  • Able to work with ladders at various heights
  • Ability to work outdoors
  • Potential exposure to allergens
  • Exposure to loud noise
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive a cargo van and have a valid driver's license
  • Minimum six months experience as a technician apprentice
  • Ability to complete tasks individually
  • High level of tool experience and ability to perform challenging drill work
  • Experience terminating network wires and splice speaker wires
  • Base level knowledge of rack equipment
