Job description

Join Apex Pros as a Commercial Install Plumber and become a key part of a performance-driven, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will install high-quality commercial plumbing systems, ensure code compliance, and contribute to efficient, on-time project completion.

You'll also support apprentices, uphold strict safety standards, and play an important role in delivering professional, reliable results on every job site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install commercial plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, waste, and gas lines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans
  • Complete installations correctly the first time, meeting quality and code standards
  • Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure efficient workflow
  • Follow proper safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out when applicable
  • Install fixtures and equipment such as water heaters, piping systems, and commercial-grade plumbing components
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, materials used, and job progress
  • Support apprentices and team members with training and troubleshooting
  • Stage materials and prepare job sites for daily installation work
  • Track materials for job costing and inventory accuracy
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean, working condition
  • Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status and issues
  • Report safety concerns and support adherence to company and OSHA standards

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass drug test and background check
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Commercial plumbing installation experience preferred (or equivalent training)
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and commercial system layouts
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience working with piping materials (PVC, copper, cast iron, steel)
  • Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in active construction environments
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills
