Job description

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We're seeking a Service Technician with whatever-it-takes approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the physical asset of the community meet both the company standards and applicable laws. As technician, you'll be diagnosing problems and making repairs. You will provide hands on and trouble-shooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, tiling, Masonry and appliances.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
  • Address, follow up and document service requests
  • Maintain an inventory of adequate supplies
  • Perform preventive maintenance on fan coil and convector HVAC unit
  • Complete additional preventive maintenance inspections as scheduled
  • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
  • Make repairs to grounds and drainage
  • Ensure all work and documentation comply with internal quality control standards
  • Maintain personal supply of tools as designated by SMC's Tool Checklist
  • Address emergency maintenance as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
  • Contribute to community and company engagement efforts
