Job description

  •  Assemble, position, and mount HVAC equipment and related items at expected levels of quality and professionalism.
  •  Comply with all applicable codes, standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
  •  Startup equipment and adjust system controls to setting recommended by manufacturer to balance system and ensure proper operation.
  •  Show and discuss the work you performed with the customer, and educate them on the operation of their system.
  •   Recommend, develop, and perform preventive and general maintenance procedures such as cleaning, power‐washing, and vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, and changing filters.
  •    Report deficiencies to the Install Manager if the installer cannot fix them.
  •   Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks, inspect and test system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions and test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
  •    Fill out Check off list and provide to Install Manager, and record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
  •    Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  •   Perform other related and assigned duties as required.
