Location: Bowie, MD - Hybrid/Field Requirements
Your Responsibilities:
  • Administer safety programs and ensure job-site compliance, including training, documentation, audits, and reporting.
  • Support sales by assisting with quotations and estimates; review scopes, labor and material costs, assess profit risk, control project expenses, and provide feedback to the District Manager.
  • Establish project timelines, coordinate schedules with customers, assign technicians, manage equipment/material orders, and secure all required customer signoffs.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and development for the technician team, including coaching and training support.
  • Oversee call-in and transactional service quotes, ensuring timely pricing and proper technician assignment.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing customers and build strong relationships to identify additional service and sales opportunities.
  • Ensure maintenance contract commitments and inspections are completed on time, while supporting technician scheduling with the Service Coordinator.
  • Work with technicians to generate pull-through repair and service opportunities; oversee customer-care initiatives, including Tech Tip programs.
  • Set technician goals and complete annual performance reviews on schedule.
  • Coordinate technician training with the training department and report training plans and budgets to the District Manager.
  • Partner with Service Sales and the District Manager to resolve customer issues, including participating in on-site visits.
  • Provide weekly reports on job status, revenue, and warranty recovery to the District Manager.
  • Monitor warehouse, truck, and tool inventory; approve tool purchases as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance on projects without engineering plans-assess needs quickly, recommend system configurations, and ensure code and best-practice compliance.
  • Review Foreman/PM plans for feasibility and assist with on-site troubleshooting when required.
  • Manage overall department operations, including staffing, scheduling, performance oversight, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.

Your Qualifications
  • Associate's degree OR relevant experience paired with a technical/trade school HVAC certification.
  • 2-4 years of people leadership experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC system types, application methods, and operational performance within commercial and industrial projects.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $101,000 to $144,800 plus a targeted sales incentive plan in Maryland. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
