We're looking for an experienced HVAC Install Manager who wants to be part of a
close-knit team, lead by example, and help grow a strong, dependable installation
department.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing residential and light commercial
HVAC installations throughout the Chicagoland area. You'll support installers in the field,
ensure quality workmanship, and work closely with ownership and office staff to keep
jobs running smoothly.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead, support, and mentor HVAC installation teams
โ€ข Schedule and coordinate daily installation work
โ€ข Ensure high-quality workmanship, safety, and code compliance
โ€ข Train and develop installers and lead technicians
โ€ข Conduct job site visits and resolve installation issues or callbacks
โ€ข Work closely with ownership, sales, service, and dispatch teams
โ€ข Manage labor efficiency, material usage, and gross profit goals
โ€ข Handle customer concerns professionally and with care
โ€ข Maintain company vehicles, tools, and jobsite standards
โ€ข Uphold company policies and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
โ€ข 5+ years of HVAC installation experience (lead or management preferred)
โ€ข Strong residential HVAC knowledge (boilers a plus)
โ€ข Proven leadership skills with a team-first mindset
โ€ข Familiarity with Chicagoland codes and permitting
โ€ข Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
โ€ข ServiceTitan experience is a plus
โ€ข EPA Certification required (NATE a plus)
โ€ข Valid driver's license and clean driving record
