Overview

The Help Desk Specialist is responsible for assisting the IT Systems Engineer in researching and correcting employee issues with computers, devices, and software.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists employees with problems with their workstation, printers, mobile devices, and network issues.
  • Prepare computers and devices for employees.
  • Clear data off previously used devices.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors for repairs and replacements.
  • Assist in data retrieval and cleaning devices of malicious software.
  • Install applications and train employees to use the applications.
  • Train employees in information security.
  • On call as need to support business needs after hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information technology, programming, or related field
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products;
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
