Quality Inspector
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Worcester, MA. This is a first-shift position (7:00 AM 3:30 PM) responsible for performing inspections and tests to ensure that materials, components, and finished products meet quality standards and specifications. The Quality Inspector will use precision measurement tools, conduct First Article Inspections, and maintain accurate documentation to support production and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products

  • Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to determine inspection requirements

  • Measure and verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes

  • Record inspection data and prepare quality reports

  • Identify and report production issues, recommend corrective actions, and assist with process improvements

  • Maintain, calibrate, and repair inspection equipment as needed

  • Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and OSHA safety standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 2+ years of experience as a quality inspector in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency with inspection tools and First Article Inspections

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

  • Knowledge of ISO compliance and quality processes preferred

Pay and Schedule

  • $20.00 $23.00 per hour based on experience
