Insight FS is headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsin with 23 branches across the state and upper peninsula of Michigan. Insight FS has 430+ employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 50,000 customers. The cooperative does business in agronomy, agri-finance, precision agriculture, nutrient management, energy, feed, grain, and turf. Insight FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Provides leadership and strategic insights to source, recruit, and hire top talent into the organization. Engages active and passive candidates to build pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Collaborates with management to develop general recruiting strategies to market the GROWMARK Retail Division and educate potential candidates on career opportunities within the company.

Focuses on relationship building at local colleges, universities, trade schools and high schools to educate and recruit students into full time, part time, internships, and other student programs.

Partners with business divisions to understand goals and strategies, job function, and skills necessary to fill roles.

Conducts passive candidate sourcing activities, leveraging internal candidate databases, and existing talent pools, extensive networking, social platforms, and other job boards to source top talent. Facilitates innovative and competitive sourcing and recruiting strategies based on HR recruiting goals, and talent hiring objectives.

Provides leadership & full life cycle recruiting for assigned roles: conducts hiring manager intake sessions, determines job marketing strategy, and facilitates candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing in accordance with EEOC guidelines.

Attends various recruiting events, career fairs, trade shows, classroom visits and coordinates attendance of Retail Division employees as appropriate.

Promotes company employment brand with each interaction with potential candidates and outreach activity.

Regularly coordinates & collaborates with GROWMARK Talent Acquisition for campus recruiting coordination and brand alignment, collateral and marketing resources and overall hiring best practices to showcase the FS employment brand in a consistent way across the System.

Collaborates with GROWMARK Talent Acquisition on Affirmative Action plans and related recruitment to ensure effective outreach is being completed.

Proactively tracks and utilizes recruiting metrics to determine the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and talent pipelining plans.

Documents all employment related activity and decisions as it relates to the candidate selection process in SuccessFactors ATS and moves candidates through the selection process in accordance with company and governmental policies & regulations.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintains a current knowledge concerning employment-related legislation including Affirmative Action requirements and EEOC guidelines. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

May assist with H2A programs, onboarding new employees and new hire pre-employment.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Must have proven work experience in candidate sourcing or similar, proven evaluation and decision-making skills and the ability to provide talent acquisition services.

High volume recruitment agency sourcing experience preferred.

Ability to complete the professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or the SHRM Human Resources Management Certificate Program.

Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Must have the ability to travel independently, frequently, and overnight when necessary to company/corporate/regional meetings, university/college locations, training sessions, and recruiting events.

Ability to work hours beyond those considered "normal."

Ability to transport recruiting materials and assemble career fair displays.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite along with report generation skills and the ability to learn and use HR applicant tracking software and other software.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
