What is an insight role in a business context?

In a business context, 'Insight' roles refer to positions focused on analyzing data and information to generate actionable recommendations for decision-making. Professionals in these roles use quantitative and qualitative research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within a company or market. They often work closely with teams in marketing, strategy, product development, and leadership to inform key business strategies. Insight roles require strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and an understanding of the industry in which they operate.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an insight analyst?

To thrive as an Insight Analyst, you need a strong background in data analysis, statistical techniques, and business acumen, often supported by a relevant degree such as statistics, mathematics, or business analytics.
