This includes analyzing regional market fundamentals, nodal and zonal dynamics, power generation assets, congestion patterns, and forward market drivers across ISOs such as PJM, ISO NE, and NYISO.
  • You will help us capture additional value by advising on trading strategies, the optimization of power positions, and the identification and structuring of new opportunities.
  • Leveraging detailed market understanding to recommend profitable trading, optimization, and business development strategies

  • Leading the development & improvement of analytical tools.
  • Development and/or enhancement of existing analytical tools to improve insights from market fundamentals.
  • Remaining knowledgeable about leading-edge developments, analytical techniques, technologies and tools in advanced analytics.
  • Valuation and cash flow modelling of both potential projects and structured deals, to support investment cases and commercial decision-making.
What you bring

  • Have previous experience in the North American wholesale power industry or related consultancy experience.
  • Be experienced in developing power price forecasts using stack modelling tools, within a trading or consultancy environment to inform trading strategies.
  • Have experience in U.S. power fundamentals analysis & advanced analytical methods.
  • Demonstrable analytical/innovative thinking expertise, intellectual rigor, drive, and desire to lead change.
