A Day In The Life:
The Inside Sales Representative's primary objective is to manage emerging and under-indexed accounts by leveraging Bunge value proposition to profitably grow the business by developing new accounts, gaining business at idle accounts and by improving share and value mix with existing smaller, customers. This office-based role will work cross-functionally with trade, PLM, technical service, marketing, pricing, and customer service to identify new opportunities at existing and new customers. Success for this role is measured by new volume and margin growth. This role is an excellent role to understand the business from bottom up and move to field sales roles within the Bunge organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Manage and grow a portfolio of emerging and under-indexed accounts by increasing share of wallet, improving product mix, and reactivating dormant customers.
• Sell the full Bunge product portfolio and increase purchasing frequency through consistent, proactive customer engagement.
• Own lead generation and qualification efforts, including digital channels, marketing-provided leads, and trade show follow-ups.
• Partner with Account Managers to support larger strategic accounts and ensure alignment on opportunity development.
• Collaborate with Product Line Management, Technical Service, Marketing, Pricing, and Customer Service to identify and advance customer opportunities.
• Work with Pricing and Customer Service teams to deliver quotes, manage contracts, and oversee order execution through shipment to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Serve as the internal point of coordination to resolve customer needs and enhance service levels.
• Build and apply knowledge of agricultural commodity markets, pricing drivers, and product value propositions to deliver informed, value-based selling.
• Monitor sales performance, profitability trends, and customer buying patterns to identify growth opportunities and optimize portfolio performance.
• Represent Bunge at trade shows and industry events to generate leads, strengthen relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
• Adhere to all company policies, including safety, compliance, and standardized commercial processes.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.
• 1-3 years' experience in the customer interaction role or related B2B environment"
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, CPx, RFx, Portal, Highspot)
• Knowledge about Salesforce and/or other CRM tools.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
