Job description

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for primary care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices. Hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
What you will do:
  • Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients.
  • Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed.
  • Performs a complete physical exam and records findings. Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.
  • Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
  • Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention.
  • Administers medication and injections according to physician direction.
  • Maintains and reviews patients' records, charts and other pertinent information.
  • Triages patient telephone calls and provides consultation.
  • Performs diagnostic procedures (HSC, STP, Biopsies) and artificial insemination.
  • Performs ultrasound for patients during morning monitoring.

What is required:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic setting is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in women's health is highly preferred.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner License, ANA Certification.
  • Strong Written and Interpersonal communication skills.
  • OB-GYN REI experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ultrasound and phlebotomy experience preferred.
