Job description

Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Position Details:

This position will be working every weekend 7p-7a once off orientation

  • 1-2 years’ LPN experience Sign On Bonus $5,000
  • 3-4 years’ LPN experience Sign On Bonus $7,000
  • 5+ years’ LPN experience Sign On Bonus $10,000

    • $30k in initial RN degree assistance
  • $3000 Relocation Assistance for full time only

  • Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
    Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
  • Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
  • Certifications:
    • LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
    • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

3D is a Med-surg Telemetry unit which focuses on adult medical patients that require telemetry monitoring.  Join our Innovation Unit (IU), which will be a “testing ground” for new innovative/optimization ideas to solve current and future nursing challenges & opportunities using quick PDSA cycles for improvement. All projects will reside under our four ministry wide nursing strategies for improvement. Here you will develop excellent critical thinking and assessment skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills.
