Job description

Work and train with the industry's finest professionals! FlatironDragados' Intern Program provides challenging and rewarding work opportunities for college students majoring in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Construction Management.


  • Review contract drawings and owner requests for proposals.
  • Assist in building HCSS estimates or excel rough order of magnitude estimates.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs.
  • Solicit or coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assist in researching innovations and cost alternates to provide competitive advantage.
  • Assist in recording meeting minutes, tracking RFIs or other organizational functions.
  • Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations, schedules or other graphics that may be used in a proposal.
  • Assist in reviewing or drafting proposal writing content.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
  • Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.

Preconstruction interns are required to be currently enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar program at an accredited technical college or university
