Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As the Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will undertake a variety of crucial responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments that guide the formulation of personalized treatment plans reflecting each client's unique circumstances and needs.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive client outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA standards, ensuring that client data is secure and protected.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide holistic care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall treatment efficacy.
• Engaging in case consultations and peer review meetings regularly, contributing your expertise while continuously learning from your peers.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options, empowering them with resources and knowledge to aid their journey toward recovery.
• Staying informed of the latest research and developments in the mental health field to integrate new strategies into client care and service provision.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals in a detox center setting who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges often intertwined with substance use disorders. Your ability to provide compassionate psychotherapy and tailored interventions will be key in supporting clients as they navigate their recovery journey. You will help foster resilience and coping strategies necessary for lasting change.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally with a focus on substance use treatment.
• Strong understanding of solution-focused therapy techniques and a proven track record of delivering these interventions successfully.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to address complex client needs effectively.
• A team-oriented mindset, valuing collaboration and mutual support among colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in detox or inpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous for maintaining accurate records.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuing education in the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits

We recognize your efforts and dedication by offering a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
