  • Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, customers, and required external partners to design and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Translate complex customer and government requirements into actionable commercial strategies and Corning capability-aligned solutions.
  • Lead the development of business cases for investment in new commercial opportunities, including pricing and value creation, cost modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Engage with US Government agencies, identifying funded program opportunities, building agency relationships, and aligning Corning's critical materials capabilities to national security and economic growth priorities.
  • Analyze and monitor competitive trends and market dynamics.

Core Competencies
  • Demonstrate consistent energy, drive, and enthusiasm in pursuit of business development initiatives and objectives.
  • Ability to sell innovative technical solutions and services and negotiate legal agreements.
  • Skilled at identifying and articulating customer needs.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, combining business acumen with technical expertise.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Experiences/Education - Required
  • 5+ years of experience in technical industry in customer-facing roles such as sales, business development, product line management, or sales engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (STEM).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • US citizenship required.

Experiences/Education - Desired
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Previous experience in product line management or innovation.
