Job description

Reports to: Sales and Estimating Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for an Estimator to estimate commercial millwork/casework accurately, submit bids on time, and to hit the sales target numbers set forth by the supervisor. Candidate will analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project to produce an accurate project cost estimate in INNERGY software. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software a bonus.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Bids projects within AWS quality tolerances
  • Submits bids on time
  • Accurately estimates time and material costs
  • Inputs quotes into software for all nonstock and nonstandard material
  • Accurately prices service fees such as AWI QCP, Bonding, etc.
  • Follows the Estimating Checklist for all bids
  • Works with team to achieve team goals and individual goals
  • Works with sales, estimating and project management to achieve sales, operational and margin targets.
