Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed one-on-one acupuncture consultations to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Carry out group acupuncture sessions, including community outreach initiatives, to promote awareness and access to acupuncture therapy.
• Document comprehensive visit summaries in the electronic medical record system, detailing treatment plans and progress notes for effective patient follow-up.
• Educate patients, clients, community groups, and staff on the benefits of acupuncture, effectively communicating treatment strategies and outcomes.
• Primarily serve outpatients while being open to collaborating with inpatient healthcare teams for holistic care solutions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through clinical training opportunities offered by the organization, aimed at refining treatment approaches and techniques.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to promote patient and staff well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Acupuncture or a related field from a program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM).
• A current acupuncture license in the state of Tennessee is required to practice.
• Demonstrated professionalism in your appearance, presentation, and professional demeanor.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills tailored towards providing excellent customer service.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an acupuncture setting, showcasing your ability to handle various patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
