Job description

Manufacturing Paint Associate
 
Location: Leominster, MA
Shift:  7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
Hourly Rate:  $17.00 - $19.00 (based on experience)


About This Position:


As a Manufacturing Paint Associate at our Leominster, MA facility, you will play a hands-on role in bringing our products to life through powder coat application in both manual and automated inline spray booths. Working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, you'll set spray parameters for special color runs, load and unload parts along the production line, and partner with fellow powder coat associates to keep daily and monthly production goals on track. You'll also help manage raw material inventory, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and uphold the quality standards our customers expect through careful final inspection and documentation. This role suits a detail-oriented, physically capable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a consistently high-quality finish.


What You'll Do:

Powder Application

  • Manual application of dry powder to product for special color runs.
  • Understand and set spray settings to match product and color requirements.
  • Setup and monitor automatic application of dry powder to product for high volume color.
  • Load and unload part pieces to continuous conveyor.
  • Stack & match job routers with product as parts are loaded and unloaded

Equipment Maintenance

  • Follow necessary preventive maintenance
  • Assist in maintaining the order, cleanliness and efficiency of the warehouse.

Product Flow

  • Manage workflow and work alongside other powder coat associates to meet daily & monthly goals.
  • Orchestrate daily coating timetable to ensure all orders are prepared in time for packaging while keeping plant managers abreast of any possible bottleneck or potential failure for the day.

Raw Material Control

  • Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies.
  • Perform cycle counts, restock shelving with products and maintain organization of inventory.
  • Manage inventory and recommend restocking purchases when applicable.

Quality

  • Ensure quality and process procedures are followed.
  • Perform final visual inspection, verification and count prior to signoff.
  • Document any shortages and correspond with appropriate personnel regarding such issues.
