About the Role:
As a Print Production Operator IV, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining various printing equipment to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality printed materials. This position requires a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain digital, offset, and large-format printing equipment to produce materials according to job specifications.
  • Prepare and inspect print files for accuracy, ensuring proper formatting and color management.
  • Monitor print jobs for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.
  • Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging of printed materials.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage inventory of printing supplies, including paper, ink, and other consumables, to prevent production delays.
  • Collaborate with design and prepress teams to ensure seamless workflow and address any production issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records of print jobs and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a print production environment, with proficiency in operating various printing equipment.

"The pay range for this position starts at $18.00; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The purpose of this position is to execute the day to day print production requirements for a 24hour/7 day a week print operation with emphasis on the consistent execution of the Quality Management System.
