Job description

Title: Temp Ink Inplant Tech
Location: Denton, TX
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay: $20/hour

JOB OVERVIEW: In this role your primary responsibility is to manage on-site ink operations, act as a primary liaison between the ink supplier and the printing facility. Key duties include weighing and mixing ink batches, performing color matching, and coordinating inventory levels.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer’s specifications.
  • Provide press side technical support.
  • Maintain detailed production and QC records.
  • Identifies rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets.
  • Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following standard procedures.
Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years industry experience
  • Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook
  • This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the day
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Drug screen and background check are mandatory if you are offered this position
