Job Description
SUMMARY: Perform installation, set-up, and removal of machine molds lubrication and preventive maintenance on production and building equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
SHIFT: 3:30PM - 12:00AM, Monday - Friday
RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:
  • Perform mold installation, set-up, and removal.
  • Maintain mold related hardware.
  • Fabricate chutes and guards to prevent cap loss and runner loss.
  • Must keep accurate paperwork.
  • Must perform any other assigned duties.
  • Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements.
  • And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must have excellent attendance and a good work record.
  • Must be familiar with mold preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Must have good housekeeping skills.
  • Must score a 62% or higher on the Mechanical Comprehension Test.
  • Must have good knowledge of mold components.
  • Must have own tools and be available to work overtime.
  • Must be tow motor certified.
  • Must have creative problem solving ability.
  • Must be able to work independently with some supervision.
  • Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, climbing, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting/moving (up to 50 pounds periodically).
  • Able to work in a production environment, around moving mechanical parts, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
  • Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.

The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $23; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $22 and $25.
