Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Position Summary:
The role of IPEX Specialist is to link the production units and the technical services, ensuring the processing of information and providing technical and industrial solutions.
He/she will be responsible of process definition and implementation in accordance with the state of the art, standards from GTS and Global IPEX.
The IPEX Specialist coordinates productivity actions, supporting product modifications within the production unit.
Deploy the best practices of his/her domain within his/her perimeter through an IPEX Network and lead the application and respect of the best technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Product Interface:
    • Interface with Product Engineer (R&D) for monitoring the product design during serial life
  • Injection Process Definition:
    • Define the manufacturing process documents
    • Perform PFMEA.
    • Participate to the definitions of new tools & equipment and its implementations with the IPM/IPE during program phases
    • Define investment and manpower needs
    • Release and update the plant/cell lay-out on his/her perimeter
    • Define cycle time in line with tact time and standard operations
  • Injection Process Implementation:
    • Contribute to the installation and deployment of production means
    • Support on the machine reception before transfer to plant
    • Organize and maintain overall KPI
    • Analyze malfunctions and participate in the implementation of FES processes (QRCI, SW, SMED, Equipment Care, and Control Plan)
    • Must have a working knowledge of processes and materials including injection molding thermoplastics and its processing, 2k Injection, Gas assist injection, Microjet and Back-injection
  • Continuous improvement:
    • Conduct manufacturing productivity analysis and improvements
    • Perform and track actions for continuous improvement
    • Advise and provide technical assistance UAP managers to solve occurring problems in the manufacturing process
    • Perform process improvements through IPEX Roadmap guidance
    • Capitalize the feedback and provide the best practices together with IPEX network
  • IPEX Network:
    • Interface with IPEX network (country, region or BG) for problem solving and best practice exchanges
    • Participate in regional IPEX workshops and meetings
    • Coach and provide training to Process Technicians and Plant Process Engineers on his/her domain
    • Lead LLS sharing within his/her perimeter at region or BG levels
    • Promote & organize cross-regional actions
    • Organize and foster relationship between the plants
    • Identify potentials: support the development of individuals in his/her domain.
    • Contribute to the creation of new standards and guidelines with Global IPEX and GTS
  • Health / Safety / Environment:
    • Meets HSE guidelines and instructions
    • Support the leadership and commitment from top management according to the Group environmental and quality policy
    • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics, Code of Management

Your profile and competencies to succeed
  • Education / Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
    • Minimum 10 years' experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector, in injection molding.
    • Knowledge of FES basics.
    • Ability to work on matrix organization.
    • International mindset.
    • Minimum bi-lingual (English required).
    • Knowledge and experience in Project Management process is considered as a plus.
