Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to support manufacturing and production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for assisting with injection molding processes, equipment setup, quality verification, and material handling to ensure efficient and safe production.

The ideal candidate will have experience with injection molding machines, mold setup, troubleshooting defects, and performing preventative maintenance while maintaining strong attention to detail and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and remove molds from injection molding machines and related equipment
  • Set molds and start presses using established production processes
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings including temperatures, pressures, and injection speeds
  • Perform dimensional checks and quality inspections on produced parts
  • Troubleshoot production defects and assist with process improvements
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on molds and production equipment
  • Support material preparation including moving and mixing materials
  • Maintain accurate documentation and production records
  • Assist with resin inventory management using ERP systems
  • Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S practices
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing operation

Qualifications

  • Experience with injection molding setup, mold changes, and machine startups
  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing or molding defects
  • Experience performing first-piece inspections and quality checks
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and ERP systems
