Description:
  • Our client is seeking a skilled Applications Systems Python Developer to design, develop, and support data pipelines, dashboards, integrations, and migration processes across enterprise systems.
  • This role plays a key part in moving data between legacy and modern platforms ensuring data quality and enabling analytics and automation through Python and PowerBI.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data migration scripts, ETL pipelines, and automation workflows using Python
  • Design, build, and optimize data models for reporting and analytics
  • Create interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading between databases, APIs, and enterprise systems
  • Optimize data processes for speed, reliability, and scalability
  • Work with SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support migration and reporting
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, including cloud apps, on premises systems, and flat files
  • Collaborate with business teams to define reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Analyze data quality issues, reconcile datasets, and implement best practices for data integrity
  • Implement automation for recurring data tasks and reporting workflows
  • Maintain documentation for data processes, source mappings, and migration steps
  • Participate in architecture, design, and planning sessions for data modernization projects
