Job description

BARTENDER
Primer & The Post is looking for a skilled and dynamic bartender to join our team at Canvas @ Valor Acres. The bartender will be responsible for crafting and serving a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring an exceptional bar experience.
This is a part time hourly position, that does not include benefits.
A typical day looks like:
  • Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
  • Providing outstanding customer service by greeting, taking orders, and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies
  • Handling all transactions and process payments accurately
  • Monitoring customer consumption to prevent overindulgence and ensure responsible drinking
  • Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and maintain a sanitary work environment
  • Upselling and promoting additional menu items and beverages
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns

Do you have what it takes?
  • Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of drink preparation techniques and cocktail recipes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Minimum of 19 years of age
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and/or safely lift up to 50lbs
