Position Summary: Candidate will work in a restaurant-like setting, in a non-tipping environment, perfect for those seeking steady hours and income. Flexibility is essential in this role, including occasional weekends and holidays. Favorable working hours as no late nights are required.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Serve residents meals, take orders, and assist residents throughout all aspects of the dining experience.
  • Provide customer service to residents to allow high level of resident satisfaction while serving meals.
  • Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal.
  • Inform residents what foods are available on the dayโ€™s menu.
  • Address residents by name and their food beverage likes and dislikes.
  • Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident.
  • Keep water glasses and coffee cups and/or carafes filled.
  • Clear tables, as needed, throughout meal and bus tables after the meal is finished.
  • Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.
  • Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

  • Must be age 16 or older
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
  • Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
  • Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.
  • Working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down
